Kefir diet for 3 and 7 days, minus 10 kg. Results before and after diet

In the past few years, the kefir diet has not left the most popular positions. The opinions about it are very, very positive. And that's completely understandable. You rarely come across a mono-diet, the main component of which almost completely satisfies the body's basic nutritional needs. Indeed, look at the composition of kefir - it contains protein and carbohydrates (and animal carbohydrates - which is usually very rare) and saturated fats, which the body needs for the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and the formation of sex hormones.

kefir diet results before and after

At the same time, kefir is a fermented milk product, which means that lactose intolerance ("milk sugar", found in milk) is no longer a problem. The kefir diet makes it possible to improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract by introducing beneficial bacteria into the intestines (however, if you suffer from an ulcer or other digestive system disease, such a diet is contraindicated).

But, of course, you need to understand that protein, fat and carbohydrate content are not the only conditions for calling a diet effective and safe. As with any other diet, it is necessary to take vitamins here, as by depriving ourselves of certain types of food, we deprive ourselves of the vitamins and minerals they contain.

How much weight can you lose in 3 days, a week, 10 days?

I fully understand that this is the most important question, because before making a sacrifice, we all want to know how we will benefit in the end. I'm disappointed, there are no specific numbers, it all depends on what kind of shape you are in. There are at least 2 options here:

  1. If your height is 170 cm and your weight is 110 kg, you have clearly accumulated 40-50 extra kilos. In this case, you can easily lose 1-1. 5 kg per day with the kefir diet, and you can lose 7 or even 10 kg per week.
  2. But if you are an athletic girl who, with a height of 170 cm, decided to lose weight from the current 65 kg to 55 kg, then be prepared for longer work.

In the first case, body weight decreases rapidly due to the oxidation of visceral fat (the fat that surrounds the internal organs) and the simultaneous loss of muscle due to the loss of a large amount of fluid in the body.

And in the second case, there is actually no excess fat in the body. There is only a small subcutaneous layer, which is a strategic energy reserve for the body, and which is only used as a last resort. You should not count on losing all 10 kg in one week as a result of kefir. Maximum 3 kg. Because there is no excess fluid in your body, and if you do sports, your muscles will not give up.

Kefir diet for 7 days and minus 10 kg?

kefir diet for a week

It's a very popular question on the internet. As I have already explained, such an outcome is indeed possible, but it would have to be very large indeed. I would like to answer the question from a slightly different angle: which version of the kefir diet is the most popular and why you should never try it.

Today, the most common version of the kefir diet is drinking one and a half liters of kefir per day. In addition, depending on the duration of the diet, a small portion of meat or vegetables can be added to the diet.

Let's calculate how long it will take us to end up in a hospital bed following such a menu.

Let's examine the question from the point of view of calorie content. To be honest, I don't believe in counting calories, but in this case, this will be the example.

If you are sedentary and do little exercise, your body will burn about 1, 000 kcal per day. You need them to maintain brain function, to maintain the functioning of internal processes such as breathing, blood supply, digestion and sometimes lifting a spoon.

100 grams of kefir contains 50 kcal, which means that by drinking 1. 5 liters of kefir a day and eating more food, you will get a maximum of 750 kcal a day. And you need at least 1000 kcal. In which organ does the body begin to economize without an energy supply? I don't want to check this.

Yes, if you want to try it, of course no one will stop you, but if you drink only kefir for more than three days in a row, you will continue to lose weight in the hospital under a glucose drip.

kefir diet with apples

That's why, when we talk about the kefir diet, don't just focus on it.

Let's look at the possibilities of kefir diets, which also involve the use of other products

Kefir diet with apples

A popular combination. But it's pointless. Apples are fructose, which is roughly the same as carbohydrates. Excess carbohydrates, as we know, are a direct route to fat mass. Eating apples with kefir does not cause a cumulative effect. Apple appears here only because it is the most non-allergenic fruit and can be used all year round. You can also write about the kefir diet with bananas, pears or mangoes. But we all know apples better. So they write about it from time to time, gradually turning it into some kind of super healthy weight loss product. And vegetables are much more effective in this matter.

Kefir diet with buckwheat

kefir diet with buckwheat

It's warmer now. Buckwheat is one of those carbohydrates that are called "long-lasting". They do not immediately give all their energy to the body, but gradually, without causing a sudden increase in blood sugar. In fairness, it should be noted that not only buckwheat has a similar effect. And oatmeal and pearl barley and barley have the same properties, so do not focus only on buckwheat, the more varied the menu, the better.

Kefir diet with meat

But that's not very good. As already mentioned, kefir is a product of animal origin. In addition to the kefir diet, you already get a lot of animal protein and fat. There is no need to overload the liver and kidneys with the same thing. Moreover, the kefir diet can heal the pancreas (or rather, the body itself will heal it during the period of avoiding fatty foods), and adding meat eliminates such a pleasant side effect. Therefore, you should not dilute the diet with boiled or even fried meat. Maybe just fish. But very rarely. At most once a week.

And now that we have a little theory, let's prepare our ideal kefir-based menu, which can be used to achieve the expected effect for a long time, without doing any harm.

kefir diet with meat

Kefir diet. menu for the week

No, of course you can stay on such a menu for 2 weeks, and some even for a month, but practice shows that the most noticeable results come exactly in the first week. After that, the effect is greatly reduced.

Breakfast

This is the time when we can eat carbohydrates and nothing will happen to us. That's why we're going to eat porridge for breakfast. As we have already learned, it can be anyone. Buckwheat, barley, oatmeal. A piece of butter doesn't hurt at all. The most important thing to remember is that porridge should be cooked from whole grains, not from an instant bag.

The drink will be either water, unsweetened tea or coffee.

Lunch

Kefir. A glass or two. To reduce hunger.

Dinner

dairy products form the basis of the kefir diet

We eat vegetable salad for lunch. Ideally, it is made from cabbage or cucumber and tomato. These are the vegetables that mainly contain fiber to maintain normal digestion and do not contain starch, which is a fast carbohydrate. You can also add greens to the salad: arugula, sorrel, etc. Greek salad would also be a very good choice. You can drink unsweetened tea or coffee.

All. Here comes the turning point. After lunch, only kefir is on the menu. It is not necessary to limit yourself to certain parts and times of administration. We felt a headache and drank a glass of kefir. And it doesn't matter how many glasses you get a day. It doesn't matter when you drink it. The point is not to feel hungry. This is a very important aspect. Don't let your body know you're dieting, or you'll deliberately slow down your metabolism and the effectiveness of your diet will plummet.

It is very important to drink plain water. This point is easy to miss during the kefir diet. Therefore, set a clear time for drinking water. Ideally, one glass immediately after waking up, one shortly before lunch and two glasses before bed.

That is all. The way forward is up to you. As long as you can endure this cowardly menu, you can lose this much weight. This is an average of 3-4 kg per week.

Just don't forget one thing: there's no point in dieting if you start eating the same way you did before.

I advise you to gradually return to normal eating after the kefir diet. Leave the vegetables for lunch, but add broth. Remove kefir from dinner, but replace it with protein foods, not carbohydrates: meat, fish, eggs. By gradually transitioning to a regular diet, you can maintain the results achieved and choose a diet that will be tasty and healthy in the future.

P. S. You don't need to blindly copy what is offered to you as a universal recipe. Spend a few hours of your time, but create a menu that suits you. An individual approach always guarantees the result!
